A Sunrise Summer Session

Getting up at 5:30am and driving another 45 minutes to get to this location in Galveston, Texas to photographer this family was 100 percent, without a doubt worth it! The air was warm and salty, and the light was soft and diffused at the beach on this particular summer morning. We twirled, danced, splashed and adventured until the sun was too high in the sky and time had just about run out. The kids found hermit crabs and chased seagulls. Mom snuggled the baby while dad laughed and adventured with the older ones. It was truly the perfect sunrise, storytelling session with Brittney and her sweet family. I wish that all my clients would allow me to capture them this way. It wasn’t perfectly posed, but it was perfectly THEM, and that’s what I loved most about our time together.
